How title slots are counted

Review and refunds

You may request cancellation within 14 days if professional review has not started. Once review begins, the one-time review fee is non-refundable. If we cannot accept a title for publishing, an administrator may refund the unused annual distribution fee. Retailers retain final acceptance decisions.

Have a completed, publication-ready book? Our Revenue-Share Publishing package allows selected authors to access global publishing and distribution without paying an upfront publishing fee or annual management fee.

You provide the final edited, proofread and correctly formatted manuscript, publication-ready cover, complete metadata and evidence that you hold all necessary rights. We perform the final compliance check and manage submission, distribution, retailer administration, sales reporting and royalty payments.

What is “net publishing revenue”?

The amount actually received from retailers and distribution partners after retailer commissions, distribution charges, printing costs where applicable, taxes, refunds and other direct sales deductions.

All submissions are reviewed before acceptance. We may decline books that do not meet our quality, legal, technical or commercial requirements. Publication does not guarantee sales.

Do you take a percentage of my royalties?

No—for the existing annual-fee packages.

Authors on those packages keep 100% of the net royalties received through our global distribution network. The separate Revenue-Share Publishing package pays the author 75% of net publishing revenue and retains 25%.

What are net royalties?

Net royalties are the amounts received by us from our global distribution network after any applicable retailer deductions, distribution fees, taxes, refunds, chargebacks, currency conversion costs or other third-party processing costs.

Authors on existing annual-fee packages receive 100% of the net royalties received by us.

We do not charge any additional royalty commission on those paid annual packages.
